Retirement? Never! DJ Bell hits the turntable again!

It is a very sad end to the school year in one sense.  The school says goodbye to the Subject Leaders for Geography.  Mr Bell, who has been at the school for 19 years. 

Mr Bell has had an interesting and varied career, starting out as  Disc Jockey in his early years before working for Sainsbury’s as a retail manager.  Having dedicated the latter part of his career to his teaching, he is now threatening to get his turntables and his records from the loft and hit the road again.  Mr Bell is available for weddings, birthday parties and if you are interested in hiring him then please contact him at:

He will be sadly missed by all of his colleagues and we will be thinking of him enjoying a leisurely breakfast when we return to school next September! 

School will close for the summer holidays at 12:00 on Friday 16th July 2010.

Examination results;
Thursday 19th August - A level - 09:00
Tuesday 24th August - GCSE - 09:00 

School will re-commence on;
Monday 6th September – INSET (Staff only)
Tuesday 7th September – Years 7 at 08:40 Year 12 at 11:00.
Wednesday 8th September – Whole school starts at normal time.
